Luxury Las Vegas Magazine hosted their Eco Couture Fashion Show at the Vu at MacDonald Highland Residences by Christopher Homes on Friday, May 31.

It was an exclusive evening featuring sustainable fashion, organically fresh music, spectacular views, savory farm-to-table hor d'oeuvres and delectable libations.

Guests were able to meet and mingle in and around beautifully appointed hillside estates, while extraordinary designers showcase eco-friendly and awe-inspiring fashions.

Funds raised from event's silent auction to benefit the Las Vegas Fashion Council.

Thank you to all of the sponsors, donors, designers and attendees that made this event a success!

Based on the ideals of ‘anarchy’ ANARCHALA is a conceptual idea that goes against the mainstream ideals & standards of art & fashion, challenging the social perception of what is art & fashion often combining both of the crafts and their numerous disciplines to evoke a certain emotion to challenge the viewer experience and the world from a different point of view.

As a child I always remember dreaming about runways, celebrities, models, cameras, all about fashion. I was fascinated with a fashion dream overall. I come from a humble family, born in California, raised in Mexico. I came to the United States when I was 10 yrs. old. My mother at the time opened her own bridal shop in which I used to help do everything including wedding dresses. I started my family at a young age. It was necessary to work hard for my kids and myself as a single mom. School was not an option for me anymore at that point of my life. I decided to concentrate on my family, working as a dental assistant to have a decent job and career, but not what I dreamed of. Later in life, I operated for a modeling school in which I realized runway fashion is what I needed to focus and work toward. I trusted my dream and pursued that direction as I had the passion for fashion and developing my talent which will support me in accomplishing many goals.

Owner, Larissa Couture LV

Through my ready-to-wear collections, my designs blend traditional textiles with avant-garde techniques to create new looks for primarily girls and ladies who like to look glamorous at their events. My proposal is contemporary and edgy with a warm and intellectual touch at the same time. This style is the result of almost 30 years of experience studying international designer's styles, blending their techniques with my ideas, presenting a striking design. The reinterpretation of this complex system and working directly with clientele, is the hallmark of the brand for which the tradition is not static fashion.
